Determino a vista que devemos ter

sobre os papéis espalhados na mesa

vistos e depressa guardados em leituras

que gerem interpretações e sonhos

levem ao mundo mágico da fantasia

e transformem o inaudito em real

tarefa de ser feliz e faceiro

no espírito em recordações

e conversas longas pela noite

determino os temas permitidos

as vírgulas os pontos as entrelinhas

onde repousam verdades e mentiras

e todos se comprazem e dão risadas

da vida e da morte demonstrada

nas diversas versões empregadas

no suave perfume dos outonos

determino a hora da chegada

imposta nos segundos permitidos

antes que a luz seja apagada.

encerrando o ciclo das leituras.

seen and quickly stored in readings

which bring forth interpretations and dreams

lead to the magic world of fantasy

and turn the unprecedented into real

task of being happy and chirpy

in spirit in memorabilia

and long conversations through the night

I define the allowed topics

the commas the dots and the lines

where truths and lies rest

and everyone laugh pleased

with the demonstrated life and death

in the various versions used

in the mild autumn’s perfume

I set the arrival time

forced on the allowed seconds.

before the light is turned off

ending the reading cycle.
